Thermal imaging is a modern way of presenting the amount of heat that is generated in environment. The map allows to see what we can not see with our eyes - infrared radiation. Knowing the temperature distribution in space, we can easily identify anomalies of temperature ("escape" of heat, moisture, discharge of sewage). Thermal imaging is developed on the basis of a night flight over the test object. The flight is non-invasive and does not require the suspension of everyday work. The sensor registers the heat radiation at ground level and is so sensitive that captures differences in temperatures of 0,005 °C.
OPEGIEKA technology allows to get a lot of informatino within a short amount of time, so it is highly effective for large areas (eg. urban). The imaging is ready to be delivered within a few days of the flight. The final product OPEGIEKA provides as image files in GeoTIFF format. In this way they can be easily shared on the Internet, popular software ie. ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation can calculate the exact coordinates of the selected pixel. Each of the pixels in the area reflects a square of 40cm.
