On 19 January 2012 OPEGIEKA was granted an Industrial Safety Certificate (I Level), confirming company's full capability to protect and secure classified information categorised as 'CONFIDENTIAL', 'NATO SECRET' and 'EU SECRET'.
The Industrial Safety Certificate certifies OPEGIEKA's full capability to protect and secure domestic and international classified information, eg.:
• ability to process classified information in company's own teleinformatics systems (Certificate of Accreditation for Teleinformatics Safety System),
• ability to process classified information in the Secret Bureau offices, which are located in a specially designed part of the GIS CENTER Building in Elbląg, and in the Centre for Control of International Classified Information, which was registered on 2 January 2012 in the international confidential offices kept by National Authority.
The proceedings connected with the industrial safety regulations were conducted by the Military Counterintelligence Service. Within the framework of the proceedings twenty OPEGIEKA employees were granted safety certificates which entitle them to obtain access to classified information labelled as 'CONFIDENTIAL', 'NATO SECRET' and 'EU SECRET'. The Industrial Safety Certificate was granted for the period of 7 years (validity date 18 January 2019).
